Best beach trails in Wolfratshausen

Varied mountain bike tour on Lake Starnberg, Bavaria. A beautiful loop trip east of Lake Starnberg. The route can be started, for example, in Achmuehle or at the Iffeldorf train station. Kilometers 28 to 42, which lead through the Osterseen nature reserve and along the shore of Lake Starnberg, are particularly scenic. This is Stage 4 of the Issarrun and begins in the heart of Wolfratshausen. The route follows the Isar River through Bad Tölz and Lenggries to the Sylvenstein Reservoir. It can be run, hiked, or mountain biked. Mountain bikers should be prepared for sections where they’ll have to push their bikes in the first part of the route. Here, there are barely any rideable trails, with numerous fallen trees.
