Best wildflower trails in Wald

Popular hiking trail in the Upper Bavarian Forest Nature Park, Bavaria. The start and finish of this hike is in the tranquil village of Wald. Over fields and meadows you hike into the forest. You hike through this for about 5 km and pass the Grosser Pfaffenstein, a striking rocky peak. More than half of the route leads along unpaved hiking trails. This route starts in Roßbach and explores the fields and forests north of the town. There are some small lakes and ponds in the region that are quite pleasant to walk past. The trail also passes through some very small villages such as Weitenfürst and Nahenfürst. The entire trail is also in the Upper Bavarian Forest Nature Park.
