Best scenic driving trails in Schwangau

Stage 4 of the Lake Constance-Königssee cycle route at the foot of the Alps. Füssen is excellent to stay for a while before setting off and looking at the historic townhouses from the 15th and 16th centuries. Hohenschwangau is also steeped in history: Neuschwanstein Castle, commissioned by King Ludwig II, is enthroned on the rocks here.
