Best partially-paved trails in Peißenberg

A beautiful panoramic route past the transmitter of the Hohen Peißenberg. The route does not go all the way up to the Hohen Peißenberg, but starts on the north side with a view of the Ammer and Starnberger See, and leads to the south side with a view of the Zugspitze and the Alps. The last part leads down the old Stollenweg to Peißenberg. Demanding for all mountain running beginners.

This route follows stage 2 of the Ammer-Amper-Radweg from Peißenberg to Eching am Ammersee. Along the way, the trail passes near Hoher Peißenberg, the Weilheim City Museum, Schloss Hirschberg at Haarsee, and the Marienmünster in Dießen. Overnights can be spent in local guesthouses or at nearby campsites along Lake Ammersee such as in Utting or Dießen; wild camping is prohibited.
