The plague chapel in the forest at a crossroads between Obing and Pittenhart was built around 1860 to commemorate the plague deaths from the time of the 30 Years War, when the Spanish brought the plague to this area and a larger part of the population from the area Obing, Pittenhart and Albertaich wiped out.
