This route is Stage 3 of the Allgäu Cycle Path from Marktoberdorf to Schongau. Starting in Marktoberdorf against the backdrop of the Ammer Mountains, the route heads north past Bachtelsee and Bärensee to historic Kaufbeuren with its old town buildings.
