Best backpacking trails in Kreuth

The stage from Kreuth to Lenggries is relatively long but also very beautiful and promises some good views. Long stretches of the hike lead through woodland, and you will enjoy a rest at the Hirschberghaus lodge and the fresh water of the Schwarzenbach stream. The Seekarkreuz offers some wonderful views before hiking onwards through the Hirschbach valley to Lenggries. This huge, high-alpine tour to the summit of the Guffert leads via the northern ascent and is an extremely demanding undertaking that requires expert fitness and alpine experience. From the trail parking lot in Wildbad Kreuth (800m) direction NO towards Kreuth. At the Schwaigeralm right over on the forest road direction SO to Langenaualm (960m). From here a bit steeper to the hunting lodge (1100m). Continue to Bayralm (1040m). From there it is trail-like, initially flowing, later a bit steep, down to the Bairache. Cross over a bridge to the opposite side and follow the Bairache downstream to the Erzherzog-Johann-Klause (814m).
