Varied circular hike near Arnsberg in the Altmühltal nature park. The beautiful circular hiking trail leads through the Altmühltal, along the Altmühl, past the Limes and the ruins of Michelsberg. There are some challenging sections with steep climbs, especially on the Michelsberg, but also beautiful views. ----- Accessible by bus and train

As soon as the first ascent is mastered, you drive left to the first beautiful viewpoint on a wonderful trail towards the castle. From here it goes to geogr. Center of Bavaria and left of it to the next trail further towards the castle. Past the castle gate we go into a trail to Kipfenberg, where the next climb is waiting for you. In between there are small sections of asphalt, but mostly you are on forest trails.
