Best moderate trails in Isen

Picturesque loop around Burgrain in Upper Bavaria. The hike leads from Burgrain along the medieval castle of the same name, located on a rocky outcrop above the village. It continues through the Isental valley, into the Burgrain forest, and along the Loipfinger stream back to the starting point. The loop is quiet and relatively secluded.
