Best lake trails in Gerstetten

This route is stage 4 of the Albschäferweg, starting in Gerstetten and ending at Schafhof Steinheim. From the Eglenseen, the path leads past the water tower to the Drei-Wettertannen rest area, crossing scenic plateaus with heathlands and mixed forests into the Stubental valley. The stage ends near the Steinheim Basin, one of the best-preserved meteorite craters in the world.
