Popular circular trail in the Saxon Switzerland National Park, Saxony.
This route is a trail with a short ascent and a marvellous panoramic view. Neumannmühle and Altes Zeughaus also offer refreshments. The route starts at Neumannmühle and follows the Großer Zschandbach southwards towards Teichstein, from where you have a marvellous view of the national park.
The path up to the Großer Teichstein is little or not marked at all and you should bring good orientation, surefootedness and good shoes. It goes partly through a narrow path that is secured with a steel chain. In some places, there is a risk of falling as well as falling trees and branches. The Teichstein can only be climbed from one side, which is why you return the same way after enjoying the magnificent view.
