Beautiful hiking trail from Annweiler up the Rehberg and to Scharfenberg Castle, Rhineland-Palatinate.
This hiking trail leads to numerous mountains near Annweiler and to Scharfenberg Castle, offering a variety of paths in the idyllic wooded areas of the Palatinate Forest in addition to the panoramic views from the panoramic mountains.
The tour starts in Annweiler am Trifels. There are both car parks and the option of travelling there by bus. From there, the route heads towards the forest, first up to Anebos Castle and Scharfenberg Castle. The route continues through the valley before climbing up to the Rehberg tower, from where you have a magnificent view. Descend via the Karl-Rahm-Pfad to Wasgaublick.
