This beautiful circular trail starts and ends in Gräfenhausen. You can travel there by bus or park in one of the surrounding car parks.
From there, the trail climbs up several hairpin bends to the 530 metre high Kehrenkopf, from where you can enjoy the first great view. Continuing uphill along forest paths, you reach the Almersberg, which at 564 metres is the highest point of the hike.
The route finally leads through the Dürrenbach valley to Eußerthal, where you turn right and return to the starting point.
