You can park your car in the Hahnenbachstrasse in Gräfenhausen to start the hike. There is also a bus stop in the immediate vicinity. From there, the route leads uphill along idyllic forest paths around the Mittelberg to the Krappenfelsen rock, which offers a fantastic view. From there, continue to the Jungpfalzhütte, which is open for refreshments at the weekend. Strengthened, the trail leads to the Kehrenkopf with its panoramic views and then northwards to the Almersberg and the beautiful viewpoint.
