This circular route is a surprisingly scenic tour through the city of Bonn, starting at the Hofgarten in Südstadt. Cross the Kennedy Bridge to reach the Rheinsteig trail. This leads to the Rheinaue leisure park. The northern route leads via Küdinghoven up into the forest past Dornheckensee, Blauen See and Märchensee to Heisterbach Monastery. There are always great viewpoints over the Rhine.
