Rheinland Cycling Route

• Partial closure between Altenahr and Laach: A section of the cycle path between Altenahr and Laach has been closed since the floods in the summer of 2021. Strenuous road bike tour through the Rhineland from Bonn, North Rhine-Westphalia This cycle tour can be reached by bus and train (Bonn-Rheinaue stop). The route is therefore ideal as a cycle tour from Bonn. The cycle route starts in Bonn's Rheinaue city park. There are a number of interesting cultural monuments in Bonn, such as the former German parliament and chancellery. The route then leads in a south-westerly direction through the Rhineland to the river Ahr.
