RSG Herne Cycling Marathon - 210 Route

Official route of the RSG Herne. This is an extremely long road bike course that serves as the challenging marathon distance of the RSG Herne and typically covers 210 kilometres. This enormous distance is the ultimate test of endurance, requiring many hours in the saddle. The route starts in the industrial centre of the Ruhr area and heads far north into the open, scenic plains of the Münsterland region. Although the course is considered remarkably flat - it features only gentle hills and numerous canal bridges - the sheer length is the main difficulty. Successfully completing this route requires disciplined eating and drinking.
