Over the Rhine to the northern outskirts of Bonn, briefly up to the foothills and then leisurely to Klein-Vernich. If you love flat routes on pleasant country lanes, then this route is just right for you! The tour crosses the Rhine, crosses the foothills between Bornheim and Heimerzheim and then runs flat to the Erft. On the way back, there is a slight ascent and a rapid descent back over the foothills, and then flat again over the Rhine back to Bonn-Oberkassel.
