The Harz National Park is a popular destination for various outdoor activities. This is a great cycle route from Bad Sachsa to Goslar with some beautiful highlights along the way. The first third of the route is quite leisurely through woods and meadows and through the Langental valley. The detour at the beginning to Walkenried to the Cistercian monastery is also worthwhile. In the second third, there is a decent climb through the forest up to Sankt Andreasberg and the Sonnenberger Moos. There you are rewarded with a magnificent view. The last third back in the valley is characterised by many idyllic ponds and the old town of Goslar.
