Popular cycle tour in the cultural region of Teufelsmoor, Lower Saxony.
To coincide with the opening of the new path link between Melchers Hütte and Tietjens Hütte, a new, approx. 30 km long cycle tour has been created. It can be started at the Worpswede tourist information centre and at all the restaurants along the route. Car parking is available everywhere.
"Die Acht" connects Worpswede with the Hammeniederung, a very extensive and unique landscape area. There are many interesting stops along the way: for example, you can explore the Worpswede mill or take a relaxing break at the bird watching station in the "Breites Wasser" nature reserve. Another real highlight is the newly created cycle path between Melchers Hütte and Tietjens Hütte.
