This almost 9-kilometre hike leads between Gettenbach, Haingründau and Mittelgründau around the Stickelsberg, as today's 18-hole golf course was named on historical maps. The starting point is the car park at Gut Hühnerhof. Other starting points are the car parks at the Laurentius church in Hain-Gründau, from the "Heckers" restaurant (like the ASV Gründau pub, one of the recommended refreshment stops along the route) or from Mittel-Gründau railway station (accessible by bus and train).
The route can also be walked in sections: For only the northern or only the southern route, each about seven kilometres long, you need about one and a half hours.
