Charming hike near Füssen, Bavaria.
The hike begins at the car park on Pfrontener Straße at the entrance to Oberkirch am Weißensee and leads along the Weißensee to Alatsee. The section leads partly along narrow paths, which are secured with lines or parapets. From the Alatsee, the route leads along wide forest paths to the Saloberalm with fantastic views of Neuschwanstein Castle and the Zugspitze.
The following section through the forest offers great views of the surrounding landscape. From the Falkenstein castle ruins, the return route initially leads steeply down the mountain to the Schloßanger Alpe and from there via Benken and Roßmoos back to the starting point. From Roßmoos, the trail follows a busy road.
