This is a marvellous hike through the mountain forest of the Bavarian Pre-Alps, interspersed with alpine pastures. The fairly long hike between Tegernsee and Schliersee requires a basic level of fitness. Not only the distance, but also some climbs have to be mastered. The Raineralm is usually open daily between June and September (it is best to enquire about exact opening times before the hike).
