Panoramic hike from Schönau am Königssee into the Berchtesgaden National Park, Bavaria.
The hiking trail leads from the centre of Schönau through forests and river valleys on the initially wide forest road "Hochbahn" and later partly on stony paths, where it can also slope steeply sideways, up to the popular Jenner viewpoint. From here you have a spectacular view of Lake Königssee. On the way, you pass the Schneibsteinhaus and Jenneralm. Both are seasonal refreshment stops. You can take the Jennerbahn cable car down.
