The route more than lives up to its name - marvellous panoramic views await. The starting point of the tour is the so-called "Nonner Freyung" near Bad Reichenhall. The route continues over the Padinger Alm, across meadows and through forests. Below the Hochstaufen, you hike over scree fields and always have impressive views of the surrounding peaks of the Hochstaufen and Zenokopf. Along the way, there are views of the idyllic Listsee lake and the surrounding landscape. Although the route is intended for inexperienced hikers, it is quite challenging. It is quite steep uphill and downhill in places and as the path between Bartlmahd and Zwieselalm is exposed in places, surefootedness is essential. The route is not suitable for families with small children.
