MTB: Kochelsee - Walchensee - Berg

A beautiful, varied and rewarding MTB tour. Technically moderate, but quite strenuous due to the sometimes steep inclines. From the car park at Kochelsee, turn left past the power station and follow the gravel path, which is quite steep in places. Turn right below the overhead power line to the highest electricity pylon. From here, descend and bear left until you reach the junction to the right at an acute angle. Follow the path to the junction to the left on a trail and continue to Urfeld. On the north-eastern shore of Lake Walchensee, follow the road to Niedernach. Now head towards Jachenau as far as the junction to Sachenbach. After approx. 1 km, turn right at an acute angle onto a gravel path past the Fieberkapelle chapel to Berg. In Berg, turn left at the first opportunity and continue in the direction of Jochberg. Follow the partly quite steep path towards Kot-Alm. Ride past the Kot-Alm to the top of the pass. From here descend to the Kochelsee.
