A beautiful, varied and rewarding MTB tour. Technically moderate, but quite strenuous due to the sometimes steep inclines. From the car park at Kochelsee, turn left past the power station and follow the gravel path, which is quite steep in places. Turn right below the overhead power line to the highest electricity pylon. From here, descend and bear left until you reach the junction to the right at an acute angle. Follow the path to the junction to the left on a trail and continue to Urfeld....

From Eschenlohe around the Herzogsstand. This variant leads along the rocky path. The highest point of the tour is 935 metres above sea level, making it a good spring or late autumn tour. On the ascent just before the Kesselbergsattel near Urfeld, there is a short stretcher section. The section directly on the B11 is of course very busy in good weather! Also be sure to ride the loop around the Walchensee peninsula - the colour of the lake here is gigantic!
