Accompanied by the babbling of the Gassellahnbach stream, you hike from the car park near the Karwendel barracks to the Hochlandhütte hut at 1630 m above sea level. You can stop off here during the summer months. Here you can enjoy food and drink and fantastic views over the Karwendel, Wetterstein mountains and Ammergau Alps. The way back is via the Rehbergalm.
