Popular circular hike in the Bavarian Prealps east of Lake Tegernsee.
The hiking route leads from Bad Wiessee over the summit of the Zwergelberg to the Aueralm, one of the most famous mountain pastures on Lake Tegernsee. From the large terrace there are marvellous views of Lake Tegernsee, the Hirschberg, Roßstein and Buchstein as well as the Wallberg. The paths are well-maintained and easy to follow, but you will have to conquer a few metres in altitude.
The day can end at the beautiful Tegernsee. This is not far from the starting point.
Caution! Parts of the route can be very slippery in the rain.
