The tour starts and ends at the Sonnenbichl car park above Bad WiesseeThe route leads along the Zeiselbach stream to the Aueralm, which is open all year round. Afterwards it goes up to the famous Fockenstein. The view from the top down to Lake Tegernsee make hikers forget all the efforts. On the way back, the route passes the Neuhüttenalm and Wachselmoosalm and returns to the starting point. The hike leads mostly on good gravel paths along the Zeiselbach stream and through shady mountain forests.
The tour makes a great snowshoe hike in winter.
