A multi-faceted circular hiking trail that presents many different magnificent aspects of the Ostalb.
This hiking trail has everything that makes a good route: sights in the town, historical sights, as well as beautiful countryside with fields, forests and the view from the outer foothills of the Ostalb. From there you have a view of 3 districts: Heidenheim (Baden-Württemberg), Dillingen an der Donau and Günzburg (both Bavaria). The trail is also suitable for families and is accessible without obstacles. For cyclists, there is also a charging station for e-bikes at Brenz Castle. The car park behind the town hall in Sontheim is centrally located and can be used free of charge. To get there by public transport, walk from Sontheim train station towards the town centre and start the hike at the "Linde".
The walk takes around 3 hours and the circular route is largely on level ground.
