This route leads along the Black Forest High Road through the heart of the Black Forest National Park. The tour leads through deep spruce forests to the Herrenwieser See nature reserve and on narrow paths to the Badener Höhe and the Seekopf summit at 1002 meters. There are lots of wonderful views over the Black Forest. The hike leads over comfortable paths as well as steep sections such as the path to the 2-Seenblick. Those who still have the strength afterwards can run up the 145 steps of the Friedrichsturm and enjoy a great all-round view. There is a refreshment stop near the starting point. At Herrenwies there is parking for cars and a bus stop.
