This exciting tour is suitable for young and old alike. Opened in July 2009, the nature trail winds its way through woods that could serve as a habitat for a lynx. In fact, evidence of individual lynx living here is found from time to time in the Black Forest. However, sightings are extremely rare. The lynx shuns humans and is a true master of camouflage and stealth. Accordingly, the adventure trail is designed in keeping with the motto ‘Sneak, peer, prick up your ears’: it takes you along winding paths, over rocks and across narrow bridges – naturally, in the heart of the idyllic Black Forest. For children, there’s a playful approach and plenty to discover at the activity stations. Plenty of information on this can be found at the Lynx Hut. Unfortunately, the trail is not accessible to people with disabilities and is also unsuitable for pushchairs. It can be reached by bus from Baden-Baden. The Bühlerhöhe/Plättig hiking car park is located at the starting point. There are places to stop for refreshments near the route.
