This beautiful but also quite demanding circular hike through the southern Black Forest has its start and end point in Freiburg im Breisgau. The route can easily be walked in several daily stages, as there are numerous places to stay and stop for refreshments along the route. In particular, between Ihringen, Oberrottweil and Bötzingen, some inclines must be overcome - sturdy shoes and a solid physical condition are therefore recommended. The starting point of this hike can be reached by bus and train (a short walk from the Rohrgraben bus stop).
