This route is stage 4 of the Chiemgautour, running from the Priener Hütte to Hohenaschau in the Chiemgau Alps. The path climbs over gentle slopes to the Geigelstein summit (1,813 m), the highest point of the tour, before traversing the Roßalm plateau to the Weitlahnerkopf and descending a cable-secured trail to the Dalsensattel. Starting point: car park at the festival hall (620 m) First ascend towards Kampenwand in the forest until you reach a ski slope. Continue on this towards Hirschenstein, past it and to the Kampenwand cable car (1460 m). Pass the Sonnenalm and Kampenwandhütte (1500 m) to the Steinlingalm (1448 m). Continue past the eastern summit of the Kampenwand towards Hochalpenkopf to start the return journey from there.
