The starting and finishing point of this hike is the Hochleite mountain hut near Schwand/Oberstdorf. If you are not staying overnight there, you should choose a different starting point or even a different route. Route: Hochleite - Schwand - Oberstdorf. From here a short bus ride to the Breitachklamm gorge entrance. Then from Breitach to Riezlern and along the panoramic trail to Berghaus Schönblick and back to the Hochleite mountain hut.
