Best trails near Pfarrgarten

The circular trail begins at the hikers' car park on Pflegerseestraße and initially leads slightly downhill to Schmölzersee. From there, the trail climbs through the forest to the Werdenfels castle ruins. The trail continues to the Pflegersee, which also has a lido. The route runs partly along the Kramerplateauweg and offers various rest areas. The landscape is characterised by the two lakes, sections of forest and the mountain panorama of the Ammergau Alps.
