Best trails near Bürgermeisterhöhe

This route follows Stage 6 of the SalzAlpenSteig, traveling from Inzell to Bad Reichenhall on a longer day that links moorland, waterfalls, and the edge of the Berchtesgaden Alps. From Inzell, it passes through the Schmelz area and quieter wetland terrain, continues toward the Weißbach Gorge and the Weißbach Falls, and then leads into Bad Reichenhall, giving the stage a more varied character than a simple valley walk and a clear sense of drawing closer to the more dramatic mountain terrain...

The hike around the south side requires practice, surefootedness and a little courage. The relevant sections are all secured with ropes - but caution is advised!
