The MTB tour starts at the Petern hiking car park and runs in a wide arc around the Staffel. In total, there are almost 700 metres of ascent to conquer, with the climb to the Galgenwurfkopf / Luitpolder Alm being the most strenuous.
The way back is along the Isar. Great views and lovely resting places are the reward for the hard work. There are refreshment stops along the way.
