Best trails near Schloss Hohentübingen

The start is at Pfäffingen railway station. From there, the trail first leads through orchards and forest to the disused Wendelsheim quarry. Now a section of the Wendelsheim nature trail leads through the remains of the exposed sandstone until you reach the fairytale lake covered in duckweed after a short while. The trail continues through forest and orchards to Wurmlingen. From there, you climb up to the Wurmlingen chapel, from where you have a beautiful view of the Neckar and Ammer valleys....

Leisurely cycle tour from Tübingen to Gammetingen. The route starts at Tübingen main station and ends at Gammertingen station. This makes it easy to get back to the starting point by public transport after the cycle tour. The long section of the route along the Lauchert is particularly beautiful.
