This short loop leads past the Kirchfels, which invites you to climb. First you come across the lower Kirchfels, then the Kirchfels. Further up the path is the view of Eberstein and a little further on the Fürstenstand. These are actually located in the Schwarzatal nature reserve.

This trail starts in Bad Blankenburg and leads to the windmill in Dittrichshütte. The trail is marked with a green triangle, hence the name. It leads through fields, forests and villages (including Unterwirbach, Oberwirbach and Braunsdorf). The entire route is steadily uphill (although not steeply).
