Best moderate trails in Kranichfeld

Wonderful hike in the central Illmtal valley. This hike is located in the centre of the adventure region in the middle Illmtal. A wide range of leisure activities are on offer here. It starts at the Avenida thermal spa, which is located at the Hohenfelden reservoir. From here, the route follows the Krummbach stream towards Munich, Thuringia. There are refreshment stops along the way and at the starting point.

Start in the town of Kranichfeld. If time permits, make a stop at Kranichfeld Upper Castle. Otherwise, continue on the loop to Windberg, a beautiful open space with good views and seating.
