A wonderful tour, also suitable for children. Parking is cheap (€1 per day) in the large car park near the station. Once you have conquered the ascent towards Gerolstein, you can expect a fantastic view of the fields. The roads are no longer audible. We recommend taking a break at Juddekirchhof with a view of the fields. The Buchenlochhöhle cave is not very big, but it is nice to explore with a torch.
