This sporty stage, which leads from Gerolstein to Bitburg-Erdorf, starts with a refreshing sip from the Helenenquelle spring. The route has its first highlight near Birresborn: The adventure loop around Kopp leads to the 200-year-old "Adam and Eve" pine trees and the ice and millstone caves. It is said that the caves used to serve as "natural refrigerators", as they were sometimes freezing cold until spring. Back on the cycle path, the route continues to Bertradaburg Castle in the Eifel village of Mürlenbach.
