Here is a suggestion: Tour 1 The red sandstone route starts at Kreuzau railway station, leaves the town centre and leads across the Rura floodplain to Üdingen. There, the path gradually climbs so that you can enjoy the impressive panorama of the Obermaubach reservoir on the Mausauel. Via the Eugenienstein and above the Rather Felsen, the route finally reaches Nideggen on winding natural paths through the Hindenburgtor and the Christinenley rock...

You walk in one of two stages. After leaving Kreuzau, walk in the direction of Obermaubach. Enjoy a beautiful view of the Obermaubach reservoir from the "Engelsblick" viewpoint. On the way back through fields and forests, you walk along Bogheim to the Eifel viewpoint "Schafsbenden" with a distant view over the Voreifel. You then enjoy a panoramic view over the Rura floodplain into the Rhine valley.
