From Walporzheim, the route leads to Bad Neuenahr. The first ascent to Königsfeld is an easy climb through the forest. The descent leads via the beautiful Vinxtbach valley to Waldorf. A short but steep climb (up to 11%) begins in Waldorf (Zum Wallers). The route then descends to Bad Breisig and then follows the Rhine. The route leaves the Rhine valley via the most difficult ascent of this route through the Lammerstal. This ascent is about 2 kilometres long with 200 metres of ascent.
