From the starting point in Thierling, the trail leads in the direction of Neuthierling, passing the Kalvarienberg to the south. Together with the Sd1, it comes to Rauchenberg. There it turns left along a well-maintained gravel road towards Thal. Shortly before Thal, there is a marvellous view of the surrounding area.
