Walk southwards along the shore of Lake Spitzingsee and follow the course of the Rote Valepp. At the Waitzinger Alm winter parlour, turn left and walk along the Pfanngraben. Continue to the Rotwandhaus and from there climb the Rotwand. You return to the Hermann-Kleber-Weg and now hike - steadily downhill - back to the starting point.
