A stage with a thoroughly alpine character. At first it's a leisurely climb through mixed mountain forest - or you can take the Hochplatten lift - it soon becomes rocky and a bit exposed in parts. The Via Alpina runs below the Hochalpkopf and the rocky Raffen, before the small Steinlingalm invites you to rest.
