Best lake trails in Marquartstein

Panoramic mountain hike in the Chiemgau Alps from Niedernfels. The challenging hiking route leads from the Hochplattenbahn valley station via the mountain station to the summit of the Friedenrath. It then leads to the Hochplatte and back to the mountain station via the Hochplattenalm. From here, you can either take the mountain railway back down to the valley or hike down as marked on this tour.
